Henkilönostinkoulutuksen tavoitteena on perehdyttää henkilönostimen käyttäjät nostimien turvalliseen ja tehokkaaseen käyttöön sekä tarjota osallistujille tietoa eri henkilönostintyyppien ominaisuuksista. Koulutuksen avulla on mahdollisuus parantaa henkilönostimen käyttäjän omaa turvallisuutta sekä myös työpaikan muun henkilöstön turvallisuutta.

Koulutuksen ohjelma on laadittu yhdessä alan ammattilaisten kanssa huomioiden Lain ja asetusten vaatimukset henkilönostinten käytössä. Kun tunnet työvälineesti ja ymmärrät niiden käyttöön liittyvät riskit, pystyt toimimaan tehokkaasti ja välttämään vahingot ja vaaratilanteet.

Koulutuksessa käydään läpi henkilönostimen käyttöä koskevat lait ja asetukset sekä työnantajan ja henkilönostimen käyttäjän vastuut. Koulutuksen pääpaino on henkilönostimen turvallisessa käytössä ja henkilönostoihin liittyvien riskien välttämisessä. Tärkeän osuuden muodostaa myös henkilönostinten toimintakunnon varmistaminen, vaadittavat tarkastukset ja huollot. Koulutus tutustuttaa suorittajan myös eri henkilönostintyyppeihin ja niiden ominaisuuksiin. Koulutuksen lopuksi on loppukoe, jonka läpäisseille myönnetään henkilönostinkortti. Koulutus perustuu soveltuvin osin ISO 18878- ja ISO 18893 -standardeihin. Verkkokoulutus ei sisällä käytännön harjoittelua.
